You don’t have to live another day with shame.

It’s important to understand there are two kinds of shame- healthy and unhealthy.

Healthy shame is that internal gut check of whether we are doing something right or wrong.

Unhealthy shame eats away at our worth and value. It sends the message that we are wrong, bad, unworthy, unlovable.

What happened to you, even perhaps what you did, does not determine your value. The lies or misdeeds of your past are not equal to your potential and future.

At first, truth is like a whisper, barely audible and hard to understand.

In time, replacing your pain and lies with hope and healing, you’ll be free from the quicksand of shame trying to hold you back and keep you down.
