Hi, I’m Daphne V. Smith. For more than 25 years, I’ve helped hundreds of women take off their masks in order to live free, secure, and empowered.
I share insights about personal and professional growth, transformation, and becoming the person you were designed to be through speaking, group facilitations, and one-on-one engagements.
You’ll benefit from my unique experiences in corporate America, faith-based ministries, the wellness industry, and direct sales, which help me connect with a broad range of ages, experiences, and vocational backgrounds.
What You’ll Get From Me
Encouragement. Insight. Authenticity.
I offer speaking, collaborating, and facilitating engagements to aide your personal and professional growth in order to live a “Well Done Life.”
Many people feel trapped or frustrated because they don’t know a way out. They aren’t aware of their options, or may be confused about the next step to take. So, they become content living with the status quo.
My work is focused on people who are ready for transformation.
I help those who feel they have no permission to succeed in life and can’t find their way to dream again.
I believe everyone should be able to realize their dreams, walk out those dreams with dignity, and live out their destiny of who they are supposed to be.
“Well-behaved women seldom make history.”
– Laurel Thatcher Ulrich
My Story
For far too long, I lived my life by default instead of by design. I looked “successful” on the outside, but inside I was suffocating.
Raised in a highly-functioning, yet dysfunctional family, I lived in silence and shame after decades of abuse. I thought my past and present would determine my future. So I stayed “stuck.”
Purposeful living can only begin when you decide to make a change. With the loving support and encouragement of my husband, I finally sought truth and healing. I gained greater awareness of my individual behaviors and personal motivations, and began uncovering my unique, God-given gifts and talents.
By altering my attitude and perspective, I experienced growth in myself and my community. This journey took practice, patience, and perseverance, but with the help of others and personal commitment to the process, I finally found my voice.
Healing the wounds of my past has fueled my desire to encourage, equip and empower other women of all ages to find freedom, fulfil their potential, and become the most exceptional version of themselves.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.”
~ Marianne Williamson
Today
No more playing small, shrinking in fear, and pretending to be someone else. Living unapologetically and owning my power allow to fulfill my purpose.
I am the proud mom of three University of Arkansas alumni; my daughter, son, and daughter-in-love. I love doting on my nieces and nephews.
I am profoundly moved by stories of hope from songs, books, and movies, that inspire me to continue growing into the person I’m designed to be.
I’ve been known to binge watch romantic comedies with popcorn and m&ms and to bust a move to any high-energy, danceable song that comes on.
In my “down” time, I enjoy getting pampered, trying new recipes, traveling, and learning new things.
